Roasted Cabbage Steaks

Not going to lie, the thought of cabbage used to make me sick. I wouldn't look at it, I wouldn't cook with it, I thought it was a purple ball of nasty. Well over time I have found that IF prepared properly it's actually really good, I know I know I'm eating my words! This recipe is so simple I don't even need to say much more about it! It's one of those recipes that can be done in no time at all, it's the perfect "oh shit I need a veggie" dinner option!

Ingredients ............................ 1 Head of Cabbage 1/4 C. Balsamic Vinegar 1/4 C. Olive Oil 1 Tbsp. Honey 1/2 Tsp. Salt 1/4 Tsp. Ginger 1/4 Tsp. Black Pepper Instructions 1. Preheat Oven to 425 degrees 2. Cut the head of Cabbage in to 1/2 in rounds, try to keep them together. I recommend using a large bread knife! 3. Mix the remainder of ingredients in a small bowl. 4. With a brush, brush the cabbage steaks with the mixture. Make sure to evenly coat them. 5. Bake until "crispy" about 25-35 minutes and then remove!

6. ENJOY!
